Looking at getting sky+ HD soon so that I can get the F1 channel, and I'm not in the faintest bit interested in getting sky sports, so getting HD is the cheaper way to get the F1 channel. Only issue is that our main TV is not HD.

Can a sky HD box be used with scart or component leads? If not I'm stuffed.

So you can get the F1 channel without paying for all the sports? What's the total cost per month?

You get the F1 channel free with the basic HD package I believe.

Sky + SkyHD = £30 a month.
