My frail and aging parents have decided they would like a new TV to replace their Loewe CRT. I've suggested something like a Panasonic 42GT30 plus a soundbar (they need all the audio clarity they can get). However, they need someone who can supply, install and set-up in Winchester -any PH recommendations? Thanks.

I'm not sure about Winchester to be honest, but I have bought AV equipment from the Southampton Richer Sounds with no issues. Their prices are usually pretty good, as is their after sales support (at least I have never had any issues) They also offer an installation and design service.

Might be worth trying Audio-T which is officially their 'Southampton' branch but it's actually in Chandlers Ford which isn't so far away from Winchester I believe?

I bought my original PMC speakers from there, after the let me take the set home for a weekend as I wasn't convinced by an instore demo (the room was very different to mine to be fair).

RS in Southampton were fab when we were looking for our new Hi-Fi, although they were happy to move a little on price Sevenoaks (Audio-T too I believe) in Portsmouth matched and then beat their price over the phone. I agree a call to either would yield many benefits.

Could you install it yourself? This stuff is not too tricky if it's a basic install without lots of cable routing.
