Could someone advise me on options.

We have a spare room with a TV sat in it that is not used at the moment. I would like to be able watch catch up TV on it.

We have a decent broadband connection and a large data limit through Sky.

What are my options?

Options are:

1. Plug a pc / laptop into it
2. Games console
3. Media Streamer (eg popcorn hour, D-link boxee etc)

I was going to say 'send it to University' but I think yours was better. smile

OP could get a Humax set top box. I have one that also records, but allows Youtube access, 4OD and BBC iPlayer, I think there are non recorder versions that will do this for around £100.
