I have a Panasonic Viera 42" LCD TV and over the weekend it has developed a thin blue line of what appears to be dead pixels from top to bottom. They occasionally come back to life but 90% of the time the line is there. Any idea if this can be or is worth fixing? TV is about 5 years old and was bought from a reputable online retailer.

It needs a screen to fix the problem, if your not under warantee then if you take it to a Panasonic main dealer they can often get Panasonic to pay for all or part of the parts cost but you will need to pay at least £100 labour normally.
