Bluetooth

Hi,
a bit of help needed on a bluetooth setup. I have a wired system in my kitchen and want to add a bluetooth speaker (e.g Bose soundock). Will either of the following work:
a) Plug my Iphone into the stereo through an aux cable (as I currently do) and also play simultaneously through the bluetooth speaker - e.g. if it was in the garden.
b) Use an Apple airwave express as input to the stereo (ie streamed through buetooth) and also play on the wireless speaker through bluetooth?

I realise now why Sonos is popular!
