HDMI Source AV amp switching problem
Discussion
I've recently bought a Denon AVR1912 which takes Sky+HD, PS3 and a Denon DVD player as HDMI inputs, the output goes to a Panasonic TXP46-G10 Plasma TV.
Sometimes when we select one of the inputs on the AV Amp (e.g. the DVD), the TV starts to cycle between the digital TV picture and Sky, alternating every 4-5 seconds or so. It does this continuously until a different input is selected.
It is as if one device is trying to control the other and vice versa.
How do I stop this?

It might be that the signal from the original source isnt strong enough to pass through the Denon.
At the risk of opening the HDMI can again, What quality HDMI are u using? I have had it before where a cheapest of the cheap HDMI didnt work well, but a slightly better one.
Also check to see if you have something like the DEC channel set. On either the tv or the source it is doing this on? You may be right that something I trying to take control.
To fault find. Use the hdmi from the working source and connect it to the non working one. This should prove if it is the source or a cable / avr issue.
