Guys,

Some of you might have already done so, but if you have a problem with your Logitech Harmony One remote, then log it with Logitech Support.

Mine was just out of warranty, but suffered with not holding charge and the battery had swollen, so could not be removed to fit a replacement.

A few emails and sessions with logitech support, and they have sent me a brand new Harmony One Remote, they did not even want the old unit back!!

Excellent service from Logitech.

Just wanted to share.

Nige.

We are on our 3rd or 4th Harmony remote (upgrades and presents not because they break) and love them to bits. Also have their keyboard for the media PC, which is tiiiiiny, 5.1 optical output speakers for the XBox and I have to agree with the comments on customer service too.

I wanted to buy the squeeze box for MOH, but wanted to be sure we could stream from the NAS drive successfully and easily, so called and spoke to them about compatibility and suitability etc, and they were really helpful!

I'm sure we shouldn't be plugging them quite like this on PH, but I really can't fault their products or service (I do not, and no one I know, work for them!).

Thanks, its not really plugging them though is it, just a statement of great service from a good company.

So much better to complement companies of good service, rather than all the negative posts when something does not go too well.

I have spent lots of money on different remotes in the past, had a Marantz Programmable, and a Philips touchscreen, but none of them are as easy to use and program as the Harmony One.

I bought a Logitech iPod speaker dock in the US.

When I got home of course I realised I'd really like a UK adapter for it, so I called them up to buy one.... and they sent me one free of charge.

Funnily enough had an harmony one that was sat in a cupboard, looked at the battery and it had swollen to the point where removing it would have broken the remote. Contacted support and they have sent me a harmony 950 replacement FOC.

Not bad after 8 years.

Logitech Harmony support is superb.

I would never consider buying any other brand of remote just because the support.
