I don't know a lot about the Loewe, but have you looked at http://www.Beoplay.com/Products/BeoplayV1
40" is inside your budget and is a cracking set

Just like something a bit different, I like the actual look of the Loewe TV.
Just think it looks classy.
Also like the look of a Sony thats on a slight angle with a speaker as its base, no idea of the model number though.
I really like our current set and its taking a lot of thought to move away from it to be honest.
Looks great, sounds is fantastic and the picture is pretty darn good.

or buy the best TV ever made
Pioneer kuro - once you have this picture - every other TV looks greyed out and crap in comparison.

Don't shoot me down but...I dont think that is a nice looking TV.
Sure the picture/sound is probably fantastic but just doesn't float my boat looks wise (if that makes sense).
Fully agree with you - its not the most stylish of TV's now but the benifit - the picture quality makes up for it.Sure the picture/sound is probably fantastic but just doesn't float my boat looks wise (if that makes sense).
When you watch a movie on it and then see a movie round a friends on another none kuro TV you just can't help feeling that they are missing out.
Excellent quality, here's a couple that got installed on a new build we did, can't recommend them enough if you have the budget for them.

I would avoid Loewe with the proverbial bargepole. Sold them from 2005 until 2010 in our store. The most unreliable, overcomplicated bags of tat in the shop. Support from Loewe was also dire.
Example.
Decided to put a 52" Individual on demo. RRP was £5000 so no small investment. Took it out of the box, hooked it up and lo and behold, the satellite tuner was knackered. Called Loewe who sent out the local repairers. They swapped out the board and then asked me to tune it in to make sure all was OK. I asked why they didn't want to do it and was told that they were printer engineers and were only there to swap the board out. Imagine if I had sold that screen to a client say 75 miles away?
Sadly you may well struggle to get a decent Pioneer 50" screen, so your only other option for a stylish panel would be B&O. If the aesthetics are the main consideration, I would go down that route.
Was so glad when we ditched them, as are the majority of other dealers who have done the same.
Not sure where you're based, but if you are intent on buying a Loewe telly, then see how many other dealers are within 50 miles of you on the Loewe site.
ETA See you're in Cumbria, so Peter Tyson are your nearest dealers , most likely. There used to be one in Kendal that I visited, but looks as though they no longer carry the brand.

Could you tell us what the make of screen is on the right and it's size? I'm looking for something similarly flush mountable for CCTV, thanks.

Was the AMX system, VERY good but quite costly as well, can do pretty much anything through it thought, control TV's, close curtains, heating, radio/TV etc very good for watching CCTV on as well, iirc this was around a 7" screen.

AMX! Ah, ok, I thought it was a little LCD screen
Thanks for the info, must be very satisfying installing that sort of kit
. I always think the sure sign of an "upmarket" multiroom system is having controllers that are video capable and those that aren't need to get there. If you have any other pics of similar installs please post them up, start a new thread if need be!
