Had a couple of Sonos units indoors for a while, which I used to subscribe to Napster and stream as much as i want. Since Rhapsody took over i cancelled as I thought the choice had really gone downhill. I have now subscribed to Spotify Premium to see what that is like. However try as I might I cannot get it to work on Sonos. It tells me the password or login is wrong even though I can log into Spotify on my desktop. I seemed to have gone through a procedure where they assign my sonos devices a number but I think I need a password as well which I am at a loss as to where I can get it. Please help this is proper doing my head in

Fire up the controller software and go into Manage / Service Settings and confirm that you have the correct details for your spotify account in there.

Can you change your login and password details on the desktop and then try?

Seemed to have got it to work now. It seems I had to set up a password with the Device ID. This was not something it would let you do straight away.I hope this service is good because setting it up was a proper pain in the a***. I know after Rhapsody took over Napster it went downhill but setting it up for Sonos was so easy

I have been using Spotify for a few years now and have found it to be very good on the whole. Only a very few key artists missing for me.
