Best in-ear headphones for £60-80?
Discussion
Need to pick up 20 sets of premium headphones for some gift packages this week. What are the best in-ear headphones around at the moment for all-around sound/quality?
- Budget about £60-85 per unit.
I buy extremely cheap but decent quality ones in Hong Kong for less than £2 as I lose them or break them constantly. No idea about the high-end stuff. Any recommendations/links much appreciated.

I've got these as an everyday set, but as you go up the range they get even better sounding!
Don't think you have to go nuts on price... I have these and cannot fault them:

I'm sure the next model up are great too: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-CX-400-II-Preci...
Sennheiser are also pretty well-respected when it comes to ear/headphones.

I love my A8's http://store.beoplay.com/store/bangoleu/en_GB/Disp...
A little more than your budget but if you want a decent pair personally I've found them to be great

That's interesting Madmover; I also have a pair of A8s and don't rate them at all...
How come? I've always found them to be great. I have found a couple of pairs to sound marginally better but I've not found them comfortable to wear. I think with B&O it depends what music you listen to as they arnt the best for bass!madmover said:

They're not really in the same quality band though.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-CX-300-II-Preci...

OP, Westone UM1s are quite nice at around the top end of your price range.
Thank you for the suggestions. I went with Beats in the end for their superior sound quality and the fact they shy away from shameless celebrity endorsement. Everyone knows that rappers, basketball players and reality tv stars are respected audio engineers after all..
In the end I went with a the Swirl from AiAiAi.

The bass was my biggest gripe; there's very little overall and I found them to sound tinny because of it...
Couldn't agree more. I rated my Sony MDR-85LP's higher than my A8s. I guess they fit different people's ears differently. Everytime I see someone wearing a pair, I always cringe at the amount they wasted, especially if they're using them on the tube/train/plane.I now use Phonak Audeo and wont be turning back. (with the exception of the B&W C5s!!)
I was tempted with a box of Zoro that were available. A quick change of audio cable was needed as the supplied one is no good. Rave reviews but over here in a brand-obsessed city it wouldn't have gone down well. Especially as in Chinese-English "Zoro" sounds exactly like "Solo" (Beats on-ear model). Sound quality apparently better and I was offered a box for US$40 a piece!

I'm running Klipsch X10is and they're absolutely spot on. They're also, if you're not worried about the remote, available in standard X10 flavour for a very good price at the moment
