Would be grateful for some thoughts please!

Wife has decided she wants to swap the downstairs around by moving the TV to the other side of the room.

Currently the TV/Skybox is by an outside wall so the cable comes straight through the outside wall to the box in the corner of the room.

The plan is to move the box to the opposite corner of the room.

We have woodedn flooring so no chance of squeezing cable round under the carpet..

1. Initial thoughts were to extend the cables and run them round the 'inside' of the skirting boards
- downsides of this: remove skirting, cross doorway and then into a box where the TV will now go

Plenty of hassle involved.

2. Next thought was to keep the skybox in its current location and use a video sender so dont need to run cable..
- had a quick look, everything seems to run off scarts rather than HDMI so reduced picture quality.

Or...

3. Single HDMI cable run along skirting board (as above).

Anyone got any other ideas as to what could be the easiest answer?

Thanks,

J

I was looking at this recently, I was going to pull the cables back outside and run them round the outside of the house and drill a new hole.

Really, wireless hdmi isn't cheap, and the good ones even less so.

Where are you, I am sure one of us could pop round to do it for you.
