I know Freeview can be a bit weather dependant, and we're currently getting having the first snow of the winter, so some interference is no surprise. The way it is manifesting itself is strange however. All BBC channels are unwatchable, most channels are fine, and some, e.g. ITV 4 are a black screen. Any explanation, is it frequency or signal strength related?

Thanks for the reply, was thinking it was strange as has been fine for the year or so I have had the box, bit of interference o the beeb channels over the past few days, and then they went completely to pot tonight. Did what I should have done before the first post, and retuned the box. All fine now. Still don't understand it. This time last year I had three ways to watch TV, but building work has done for the satellite dish, and analogue turned off, so down to one now.

On ours we lost Film 4, ITV4, and most of Yesterday with the sound and picture jumping and freezing. All other channels wee fine. I removed the cable from the aerial and re-attached the connection and all was well with a perfect picture.

For about a week.

Now we are back at square one with the same channels affected. Must be the frequency of those channels with a fault with the connection / cable. Now summoning the enthusiasm to go back up and replace stuff.
