I recently so say up graded from 10mbs to 30mbs with the newish virgin super hub i have had nothing but problems since ie the internet quite often crashing/freezing and a very poor wi fi signal unless your near as dam it right next to it, never had no problems before with the old virgin system. Does anyone else have problems with there virgin media superhub...? i think i`m going to ask for my old hub and router back.

As has been discussed on here before - set the SuperHub to modem mode and use a 2nd router for NAT/DHCP/WiFi Access Point.

Hi, sorry only recently had the upgrade to the superhub so haven`t seen any discussions on the topic.
Can i ask what 2nd router do i need and do Virginmedia provide them?

This.

Annoying, but we saw a massive improvement. Plenty of info on which ones to go for is available, not from Virgin themselves. Linksys stuff seems to be well regarded. We got an Asus, it was pricy at around £100 but has been amazing.
