Is my old 42" plasma samsung worth anything?

I have an old(ish) 42" plasma telly that i dont need. It's about 5 hears old, HD etc. I can get the model number if needed.

Is it worth anything to anyone or should i donate it to the family?

Somehow I doubt it, a new 42" plasma can be had for less than £300 (as a quick Google search will show)
