Fat Man Itube Amp & Dock

As per the title I've just purchased a Fat Man Itube amp, iPod dock and speaker package. they have them in Costco for just under £70 so thought it was worth a punt. Are they any good? Planning on hooking up the speakers to the TV through my av receiver (using it as a glorified hdmi switcher at the moment) and using the amp in with my hifi in a seperate room.

They are quite Good. The Cheapest ones are only Hybrids though and even then you will need pretty efficient speakers hence why they sell some with them. I'd expect the AV Amp to find the speakers an "easy" load so they could sound quite loud. As for Using the Amp/Dock in a Hifi setup it should be ok providing you are not expecting too much from the limited output.
