help please new samsung

Hi all i dont know if anybody can help me here, i have just bought a new samsung 46es6800 led, i have just gone from my 2 year olp panasonic plasma, in contrast i am gutted the picture quality on the samsung is just awfull, i just cannot get the colours correct too red, too bright, the plasma had an amazing picture, i would go as far as to say in hd on the led is only about as good as the plasma in sd, the other thing i have noticed with the led, it has a huge effect on where you sit, direct in front of the screen gives one picture, move even 2 foot one way it completely changes the quality and colours? am i going mad!! cheers

Why did you Bin the panny ? Our 8 year old viera plasma is built like a rolls royce & is still going great

Thanks have done a lot of reading, bit shocking to be honest, a lot of people have took them back not happy with them!, i spent most of the day putting different settings in, still not a patch on the panasonic plasma so it is being returned! and one big pain is the headphone jack, i have bose speakers which run of the headphone socket, on the panasonic you can leave it pluged in but the tv speakers still work, on the samsung it turns the tv speakers off while the bose ones are pluged in, hence i have to keep going behind the tv and taking the plug in and out! thanks anyway
