Sony STR DH 830 question

Hi,
New to this forum but I have 2 questions.
1.does anyone know if the Sony a/v receiver STRDH 830 has an automatic lip sync feature?
2. Sony or Yamaha which receiver is better?

My 820 has it so I assume the 830 will have it too.

Both Sony and Yam are fine providing you have the right speakers.

The Sony is bright so you need warm speakers whereas Yams are warmer so bright speakers help to balance things.

I am using B&W speakers and I went with the Yamaha any comments?

B&W are warm so consider a brighter amp than the Yam perhaps, like a Sony or an Onkyo.
