Anybody got one?
Picture looks pretty good, DNLA function seems to work with most formats plus FLAC for audio.
Available online for £509 which seems very cheap too.
Should connect in with my existing 2 channel DAC so should give decent sounds and means the Mrs can access the media server without booting PC, selecting right input and audio channel etc and would i imagine be adequate for ordinary audio listening too.

Ticks all the boxes as far as i can see, so talk me out of it?

Bought one, ended up at Richer Sounds, extra £40 but free 5 year warranty and immediate collection.

So far so good. The DNLA function is very good, orders photos into date order or camera or just folders which is quite useful. FLAC audio quality is very good
Picture is nice and sharp and looks fine on SD.
Quite pleased with it TBH.

The ones I tested didn't seem to do dark very well, quite 'noisy'.
Not many tVs though accept memory cards, most just USB. I understand that model is being discontinued which is why everywhere has them on offer, forgive me if I am wrong. Also a 5 year warranty on offer at no coat with some sellers.

Strange picture issue, every time a dark shot it dims it down further. Quite annoying. Not too sure about colour either. Has improved over the time i have had it.

Is it better than my old TV and showing up the issues with the recording?

All auto picture options disabled.

Sounds like you've got the "CATS" system switched on in the picture menu, try switching it off
