Buzz from Plasma?

Hi,
Just got a new tv, it's only an entry model LG PA4500. It replaces a 32in LCD sony flat screen I'm now using elsewhere. My Sony made a buzzing noise if you stuck your head behind the TV, but this new TV I can hear the buzzing while I'm sitting on sofa. I have to turn it up a fairly loud as to not hear it buzing, seems to change slightly in tone with picture movement.

Is this normal on a plasma before I send it back to Amazon..?

Seems to be from my experience. Every one of my Vieras have buzzed quite noticeably when displaying lots of whites or blues (Sky EPG, for example). It's not one constant drone though, increases and decreases depending on what's happening on the screen and the colours being displayed.

Cheers, think mine must be faulty - drone is noticeable no matter what's being displayed.

Amazon are taking it back - good service!

I too had an LG plasma for a while - the buzzing drove me insane, but was apparently quite normal...
