best sky type thing - without phone?

asking for my missus, she's with sky but is moving house so is thinking about options but isn't too clued up, and i'm only on freeview so have no clue at all...

ideally without paying for a phone line as she never uses it, which i think virgin offer but sky don't? but to remove the phone line from virgin makes it a custom deal and therefore as expensive as the same standard package which includes phone. (Broadband would be fibre optic).

if she cancels sky at her current address will new customer discounts be available at the new address?

any significant difference between the virgin and sky service (even BT come to that, although i guess she'd definitely need a phone line with BT...)
