Tv reception problems.....

Here's a strange one.

Had a power cut during the week. Since which I can't retune my television to receive any channels.

I did manage to get a few at one stage but no analogue channels and only BBC channels. No HD no free view etc.

When using 'auto tuning' I am searching by 'air'

Highly frustrating. Anyone know what would cause this issue?

I don't suppose you have either an aerial booster or distribution box in your loft? Perhaps the surge of the power coming back on has killed it, or perhaps the fuse has popped?

The other option is does your aerial loop through another device on the way to the TV? Similar effect might have occurred, or perhaps it has reset to factory settings which effects the aerial loop through?

Worth a check at least.
