Old VHS tapes ??
Discussion
Pretty sure someone has posed that question before on here, and the general consensus was there's little to do other than bin them. As already said, charity shops don't want them, you'd be lucky to flog them at a car boot, and selling on eBay would likely cost more to list and send than you'd get for them.
Sad, but it's the way it is really with VHS unless its something special.

had a search on PH, came to nought,
had a google and it pretty much echoes what you guys have said,
did find this interesting clip for before you bin your video players though
if only i knew this then.

If they are very old like pre 1985 (known as a pre certification tape) then they could well be worth a few quid as these are now highly collectable especially if they are horror or were on the 'video nasty' list.
If I said some on that list of 39 banned films are now worth up to £2000 then I suspect you would be surprised

Love the way this was roundly ignored.
