Why is my Sonos so slow?

I've been doing some editing of folders on the NAS drive that my Sonos system links to, but it takes literally over an hour to link up with a folder. Anyone know why this is?

It's been painful today, I've literally spent the day faffing about with the set-up but have not been able to play anything other than the radio.

Not had that issue but I have to say their Technical support is very good!

When I first got mine I couldn't connect to a shared folder on my desktop - they dialed in remotely and fixed it for me at no cost.

Their tech support is very good and worth a call, it maybe that you've got a router problem, worth having some cat 5 handy so they can do a proper diagnosis.

mine did similar and it was a bad cat5 cable between router and NAS drive. Sometimes the cheapest fix does work.
