New tv help

I currently have a Sony kdl40v4000 tv, using blu rays via wd tv, Xbox 360 and sky but only sd. I have a decent projector set up for proper film viewing.

Toying with the idea of replacing the tv with a Samsung PS43E490. 43 inch 3D plasma. I think it is only 720p though. I can get this tv for 310 brand new with 2 3D glasses but would need a 3d bluray player and new amp.

What do people think of it?

Had a look at one a couple of months ago, looked very decent for the money... Unless you're going to be sat very close to it, I certainly wouldn't be put off by it 'only' being HD ready!

The Panasonic 42X50 is also worth a look too.
