Bowers and Wilkins Z2

I'm thinking a getting a B&W Z2, does anybody have one or heard what the sound is like.
Are they on par or better than a Bose Sounddock 3?

I'd see if you can get a listen to them side by side in John Lewis or somewhere like that. You will get a lot of differing opinions on here and only you can tell what you like.

I am a massive fan of B&W stuff and have headphones, earphones, as well as two sets of their speakers.

When I tested the Zeppelin Mini (S2 predecessor) against the Bose Sounddock 2, I found the Bose to be a lot better which I was surprised about. The full size Zeppelin was in a different league, and far better than the Bose Sounddock 10, so maybe B&W aren't quite so good at making the smaller docks.

I hope the S2 is better, because I like the way it looks and I like the brand and after sales support. It is a fair bit more expensive than the Bose, but it does include Airplay where as the Bose is a traditional dock only.

I had a listen and I must admit it has a great sound. But in the end I decided on a Denon RCD-N8 with Monitor Audio BX2 speakers because of the AirPlay, found a great deal online for £489 and so far very impressed
