Best place to sell/swap speakers??
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I have some Dynaudio 62 floorstanders (that are bloody excellent) but I'd like to free up some floor space and get some decent (Bit more discreet) bookshelf speakers.
My plan is to get the same speakers hopefully throughout the Living room, Dining Room/Kitchen and use airplay express to control rooms.
What good Audio forums are there for the UK where I might be able to sell/swap my Dynaudios?
And what decent bookshelf speakers are there for around £300ish a pair as I'm looking at getting 2 pairs, I already have 2 Rega Amps to run them. I've been looking at B&W 602?? on ebay at mo as my friends pair are excellent, but any other suggestions would be great.
Cheers Guys.

This would be a lot less hassle than eBay and you will avoid the fees.
I must admit I have stopped selling on there though because the price that you get is very low because the buyers are much more savvy than your general eBayer. I tend to get more on eBay even after the fees. I still buy stuff on there.
For a swap, I would have thought it is definitely the best place. For a sale you need to decide if you can deal with the hassle of eBay to get more money or not.

It can be a touch decision whether to sell gear on ebay. On hand the fees are pretty steep these days, but on the hand you can often fetch a better price. TBH I usually try flogging stuff on the hi-fi forums and/or gumtree first, simply because it doesn't cost anything and can often get a local cash buyer. Then only list on ebay as a last resort. Also, with decent speakers, most buyers would want to listen to them first anyway.
