Hi

We are currently repainting our lounge, and have moved temporaily into the conservatory

We are now thinking of leaving the audio equipment - Arcam amp, CD etc in the Conservatory to reduce the clutter in the lounge. Speakers would remain installed in the lounge, cables coming through the walls.

Main concern is the heat in the conservatory in the summer (assuming we get one this year) Has anyone run Hi Fi equipment long term in a hot environment

Anyone know the maximum operating temperatures for home equipment (I've looked in the manual for the equipment but its not listed there)

I have my old Denon 3805 powering my conservatory set up with some M&K speakers and a BK XLS200 subwoofer along with a Sony 32" LCD TV. No issues after 4-5 years use though we do have a bronzed outer roof which helps reflect the sun when it comes and we leave the internal patio door open while at work so the heat is dissipated throughout the house. In winter there is a radiator with a TRV set to a low value just to keep the chill off.

This was the old analogue TV (hence the Freeview box under the TV) but haven't got a more upto date photo. I made the corner unit out of an Ikea coffee table cut into a triangle shape:
