Hey

I bought a Panasonic LED tv today and as I'm mounting it on the wall, need a longer power cable than what was supplied. Where can I buy on of these from?

Thanks

Chris

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=3m+power+lead&am...

If 3m isn't long enough change it for the length you want.

Is it as easy as that?

Do I need to check which fuse is in the plug? Or should it be okay?

Pretty much.

Or, buy an extension.

As for the fuse, change it for what your TV manual recommends (usually 3A or 5A).

It's a 5A fuse in the plug supplied. The plug supplied also as a block at the end that goes into the tv, not sure what that is? It's a round block about an inch long.

What's the TV model number?

Does the end that plugs into the TV look like the one in pipsters link?

2.5A is stamped on the tv end of the cable, so with the fuse being 5A is the thing at the end a transformer of some kind?

Both leads are the same, just different suppliers. The moulded bit on the end is just a pattern of IEC connector.

The TV takes 230V.
