Hopefully an interesting streaming dilemma.... (TV)
Discussion
So we have a flat with Sky - single room subscription and a 'dumb' outdoor aerial in the bedroom but full sky in living room.
Would like to have full Sky in bedroom but won't/can't wire another lead in for multi room. Possibly could but we already have full Multiroom/HD at our house.
I simply refuse and won't pay for an all singing and dancing Sky package for 2 or 3 days per week in flat.
Ideally, I would be able to use 'SkyGo' in London through laptop and stream to whichever TV I feel like? Saving a full £Sky pm.
Also have a spare room at house which has no aerial socket and would be nice to have a spare in there for guests? Again, I guess streaming is the way forward for 5-6 days per month?
Whilst the above may seem bizarre, we pay around £120 pm already for Sky and it really pishes me off not having it in the bedroom at flat nor in spare room at home.
Have searched and cannot find a simple solution - is 'Slingbox' or similar the answer? (WIll read up on it now.....)

Yes, depending on your broadband connection speed, both up and down stream, it should work well.
The cheapest would be to put the sling box in the flat and then use a laptop in the bedroom and then a sling catcher in the guest/spare bedroom at home.
The only thing you would need to check is if the 'slinged' stream has to leave the flat and then come back in via thier own server, or can it just stay on the local network.
Ooooooo, have you tried using the Sky Go app instead to at least get around the flat issue?
