Stuck what tv?

Hi all I purchased a Panasonic TX-P42ST30B from John Lewis 13 months ago unfortunately it failed. I paid 550 for it and do not seem to be able to find a like for like replacement for the same money. I had this delivered last night from JL Toshiba 46TL968B and frankly it sucks compared to the Panasonic the motion blue is horrid etc. so it's going back.

What I want from a tv full hd, 3d ready, 40 ish inches and no motion blur as I watch a lot of sport.

I have zero interest in "smart features" I could not give a monkeys if its 20 inch thick or 2mm. I want the best picture I can buy for 550 max 600 as money is tight at the moment. I really wish they could repair my Panny

Hope someone can help I also want a good warranty with the TV as well because I personally don't trust all this slim line loads st in it tvs to last.

Stick with Plasma imo.

Just to clarify JL were great but they have no alternatives at the same price so issued a full refund...

TVs seem to have got very expensive in the last year all full of this smart st I won't use because I have a laptop, ipad, iPhone etc that do all those things and better ffs

If you can stretch to £640, the LG42LM670 is superb. It's very thin and has smart features, which you don't care about now but might do in the future.

I've had mine about a month. Very impressed.
