So, I have just purchased this: philips hts2500/12 DVD with surround sound from tesco. It was in the clearance section ( display model) obviously it was cheap as it is missing the remote control..... I knew this.

So, the question is, where is the best place to buy a remote from? Has anyone had to buy a remote before, if so, can you recommend somewhere?

I was expecting the remote to come in at around £35 but this would still made the deal a good one.

I presume this can be set up to operate a few things? I.e. tv, DVD, surround sound and a seperate stereo?

May have to look into it.

It doesnt have to be a One, it could be one of their cheaper 650's or something if you only need 4 or so activities.
