We're in the process of refurbishing our kitchen and I would like to add a TV of some description, a family member recently added one of these and it looks pretty good

Quality is fine for the kitchen however the price seems a little steep for what it is, are they any alternatives?

Criteria is something around 15" or so, must have dvd/cd playback and freeview budget of upto £350

How do you plan to watch whatever you install? Is it going to be a radio with pictures?

That looks like a great idea, what do they cost for supply only, you can email me if you'd rather not say in public

When I asked how, I did not mean what.

Will you watch while standing preparing food, etc., sitting at a table, or something else?

If you just fancy a different kitchen gadget will it be ignored after the initial thrill has gone?

The only thing that puts a spanner in the works for me is that you can buy a perfectly decent 32" Sony TV for the same sort of price. In fact this is what I did, though it's more of a kitchen dinning room in my case, but you don't need much room for a flat screen TV anyway.

Bought one of those flip down TV's a few years back from an online trader, not the same as that one but same idea.
It was garbage, the tuner on it was useless, very weak signal so it went back.
At the end went for a 15" on the counter LCD which works perfectly.
