Following on from my previous topic where I exhausted my interest in budget AV receiver and floorstanders combo, I've decided that a soundbar is probably a much better fit for my needs.

So, I would like to spend a maximum of £300 on a great-sounding soundbar (for music and movies) with:
- Bluetooth
- Optical audio in
- Wireless sub

So far, I've seen a couple which look interesting, but the LG 3530 seems to be the front-runner (based only on WhatHiFi reviews).

Can anyone else throw any recommendations into the hat?

I've got a LG NB3520A which I'm guessing is the previous version of that or perhaps a lower level.

It does the job very well. I'm no sound expert but its a world apart from the standard speakers and makes even watching normal tv much better. Great for turning up the volume during a film, never had any issues with it and the Bluetooth is great for connecting your phone up to and streaming music through.

Yamaha are very well rated in this area and of the three makes you mentioned are arguably the only true Hi Fi manufacturer (ignoring Panasonic/Technics of yesteryear!) so that would be my preference if you aren't able to listen to them.

I know nothing about this rolleyes it's actually a subtle highjack
but what make of TV do you have?
Is there any advantage in terms of connection to the TV and use of (one less) remote if you buy the same make sound bar as your TV?

I've a Panasonic TV and have just started looking at 2.1 systems and need some guidance too please smile.
