Playing the same sounds on 2 different speakers
Discussion
This is probably an odd question, but I need some powerful speakers for a one off party in a couple months time.
I have 2 sets of 2.1 speakers (Logitech). By themselves they aren't really powerful enough for what I'm after, but I'm wondering if there is anyway that I can combine both sets of speakers together, so the same output would go to both speakers?
I'm thinking if this is possible it may be better, as there is no point in me buying big speakers just for 1 party as I'll have no use for them afterwards.
I'll be using an external 5.1 soundcard off my laptop so that I can cue next tracks on my headphones (using Virtual DJ) if that helps.

You will find audio sound is a funny thing as it doesn't behave like the marketing department thinks. Doubling your amps and speakers will not double the sound. If you use the Logitech speakers try and get them as high as possible so what sound they do produce is not lost in the people in the room.
O/T - Do you really want to spend the party playing DJ?

I love playing DJ
I'm not very good at it but I do enjoy it. It's my 'pre pre wedding party' so I may have to alternate between the dance floor and the decks.
Nonuts, thanks for the link. I assume that will essentially send a mono output to each set of speakers? Will give it a try and see how it sounds.
