Making movie from Go Pro 3

Hi,

I have just done a drive to the Alps, taking lots of video and photos.

Could you please advise me as to the best free software to make a movie with? I will be using a laptop with windows 8.

I am not great around a PC, so a programme that is easy to use would be great.

I would like to play clips, with the odd photo, wording on the screen and some music playing in the back ground.

Do you have a ipad as Pinnacle Studio is a great app to use for editing.

If not, you can upload on a PC free for 30 days Pinnacle so you can try it out with all the features, use the free 30 days to do your video ?
