Hi
After much deliberation and waiting I bought a new ST65 Panasonic plasma however it has lip sinc issues where the audio is comes through after the mouth movements.
I only have a swisscom box plugged in (im in Switzerland, so like a sky box) as i dont have a DVD/blueray player yet (yes i know, its coming soon!)
Is this somthing i can adjust, or is the TV faulty?
The manual is in French, German and Italian , no English, so hoping we have some Panny experts here?
Thanks

How is the box connected to the TV (HDMI?)? Do you have separate speakers and an amp or are you using the TVs speakers?

We have occasional issues, it's down to the broadcast rather than the TV though.

ON my LG, you can adjust lip sync manually thru the menu, under "sound" options.

The TV and the set top box should have a lip sync delay setting

I'd say you need another source plugged into the same connection to check but you certainly shouldn't get lip sync problems with a single source using the internal speakers. Can you also try the set top box on another TV ideally using the same connection.

I agree with this...but it is also possible the settings for lip sync on either device 'may' have been set for a delay and the OP unaware.

fair enough advice, i will make the effort and reconnect the old TV, and also dig out my apple TV box and see how the films sinc.
I did notice it got to the point it was about a second out (watching tennis was amusing ) i then turned the swisscom box off and on and it got better, still not right, but definitely better.
i will try another HDMI cable, then the apple Tv and then the old Tv and see if i can see where the error is coming from.

I have an old set top box that has sync issues across HDMI - similar to you, sometimes bad, sometimes not and always better after a re-boot. However it's only when it outputting to a screen and separate surround sound speakers via an AV amp.
