I wonder if anyone here has had the same problem?

I have full Sky package and a dish with 4 LNB connections, if i connect a second sky box i get a different region on BBC and ITV?

Anyone help?

Where is the card registered? I believe Sky assign the regional defaults.

Worsy is correct. You need to get on the phone to Sky - they will change it for you - takes minutes.

You should be able to add other regional channels - like this..

Sorry, should have said. I am not using a card in 2nd Sky box. This box is our old box from when we upgraded to HD both boxes are sky plus.

So dont think it is card, maybe i will run setup again to see if that cures it?

Don't think they work at all without a card in them so it must have one.

Without a card (which contains your postcode which tells the box what regional variation you should receive) you'll get BBC London and ITV Central West I think it is? You CAN'T change these options without a card. A Freesat from Sky Card is £25 I think which will do it for you.

I don't know if it's true but Ihave rread some sky box's will remember the regional variation after a card is removed and some won't.

My own white sky plus SD box will let me watch all BBC, ITV, channel 4 and 5 and a few others without the card and stoll gives the Yorkshire channels. I suspect however a power down of the box will give then lose the local stuff.

ETA as I expected a reboot of the box lost the regional variations and now shows BBC London. BBC Yorkshire is still available however up in the 950s as are all the other BBC regions and ITV regions can be added as other channels as per the link above.
