Sonos for TV + Music question
Discussion
I'm looking to get some surround sound speakers for my tv & would also like to use them for music. Budget is around £1,000 all in.
I've already got a sonos bridge, so would be looking to buy a sonos connect (£270) or sonos connect:amp (£400) and hook it up to the speakers/tv/external amp.
I'm not very technical but 55W for the built in amp seems quite low which is why i'm thinking of just getting the connect. Although will this mean I can't play from scratch using the app and i'll have to turn something else on first? Also not sure what will happen if I watch tv & play music at the same time? I don't want to have to manually plug the tv or sonos into the speakers!

Why would you want to play music and watch tv at the same time?
I have a squeezebox (same principle) plugged into my AV amp. I use a Logitec universal remote which switches both on at the same time and puts them into the right mode. I can then control my music from the remote, ipad or phone.
I can watch TV in the main room and listen to music on another SB elsewhere though.
