evening,

I was considering buying myself a different mixer for my turntables (probably get a couple of cd players at some point too) anyway, I have a vestax pmc170a mixer at the moment, and it's ok. the fader is a little harsh and there's no adjustment. my brother has an aging pioneer djm250 or something like that, and having always got on well with that I thought about a 2nd hand djm500 or 600.

any thoughts on these 2? they are reasonably priced 2nd hand now.

thanks

Christ this takes me back 10 yearshehe

the DJM500 was at one point the club standard, very good solid mixers but always preferred Allen and Heath myself, i had the Xone 32 but this is the 6 channel version, fully adjustable xfader etc and very tempting price!:

As long as they've not had too much 'club use' they are pretty good second-hand. My DJM300 is well over 10 years old, most of it in my house but occassional excursions into venues, and still works fine. All the important bits are replacable anyway.
