Minature speaker stands?

I'm in the market for some small (roughly 100mm x 100mm to 150mm x 150mm footprint) speaker stands for my desktop speakers. I'm looking for about 20cm elevation to bump these up to roughly ear level, and offer a decent degree of insulation between the speakers and desk, but at a minimal cost. The best solution I've found so far are these oak stands combined with some acoustic matting and spikes.

Does anyone know of a better alternative?
