As the title suggests I’m looking for some advice on a new 50” TV (poss bigger) for around 8-900 pound.
Has anyone spotted any deals recently for example?

I’m after something for SKY/Virgin Media, so HD and normal. Sound will be through an AV amp and surround sound speakers. I’ll be buying a new PS4 when they come out so some gaming included.
I like the idea of 3d and I assume most TVs have that as standard now.
Not sure I’d use a Smart TV but not ruling it out.
LED, Plasma or LCD, I’m open to suggestions. TV will probably be wall mounted.

If you can stretch to 1200 a Panasonic plasma 55ST60 will blow anything comparable price wise away.

Thanks for that. I think that is the tv that caught my eye in fenwicks.

So then, is plasma still the better tech, over lcd and led?
