I'm thinking of getting one for my digs but are they any good?
It will be also be used with a PS3.

Picture is fine and dandy I notice in the blurn they mention a dual core thingeymagig which is interesting as I don't personally find it any faster than the TV in the front lounge which is also a Samsung and supposedly a lesser processor.
That being so its prompt to respond.
We have a Western Digital 500gb Elements desktop drive connected to this and use that to record too or to use for live tv Delay thingey as a recorder its superb and as with other samsungs means you ca use its record feature when you are out as long as the TV is connected to a power supply.
Now the bad bits:
BBC I player - great
ITV player - good
4OD - very patchy band slow to navigate
5 on demand - ok but frequently frequently seems to drop and go back to the start - odd
We also have a Youview box connected in the bedroom to an LG TV and the 5 on demand is much smoother than on either of the Downstairs TV's
Good
To put it simply , it's sharp without being jarring, its great on normal TV and films (though the fresat tuner seems to have less detail than watching equivalent thing via freesat. Its good at angles it doesnt go funny if your sat angled to it. Wife watched lots of tennis on it i watch some football when im banished
Its genuinely good.
