LG 42LN575V or 42LN578V

Hello,

My sis is looking at getting one of the above LG's. Its been a few years since I last bought a TV so am out of touch with where technology has go to.

Have not yet been able to find any independent reviews on either of the two however the LG's website seems to rate them highly!

Does anyone have either of them? What is your opinion on them? Which should she go for? Or should she be looking at something else entirely?

I've got the 575 (39 inch) great picture, can't fault it, it doesn't have 4od unfortunately but that's exclusive to Samsung.

A bit of digging around showed that the difference between the two models seems to just be the Magic Remote.

She has now thrown in a Sony KDL42W653 into the mix. The sony seems to be reasonably well received.

Have told her to go and view both and decide which one to get.
