is it bad through all sources or just some/one?
list ones it's bad on and how that source is connected to the TV.

Thanks PP - you're talking to a luddite who thinks telephones without an attached cable are some sort of magic so bear with me.list ones it's bad on and how that source is connected to the TV.

Do you mean just 'normal' tv pics versus say bluray playback?
If so then yes, only the broadcast tv pics are poor and - hold on, just going to look at the cables.
Took pics, don't know if helps:

Are you sure you're not simply sitting a bit closer than you were in your old house? I know the picture from terrestrial HD channels on my TV looks very, very nice, but if I sit just a bit closer, I can clearly see that it's far from perfect.
No, same distance away. It's not getting any more light or reflection either, it's still not a 'bad' picture, just not captivating, it's not familiarity, it's worse than before.
Since many TVs allow different settings on different inputs, I wonder if you've inadvertently changed the picture setting for Digital TV viewing? Not sure of the options on a Panasonic plasma, but I have an LCD version which allows about 5 picture settings, worth cycling through each option while viewing a TV channel to see if you find one that looks how it used to.

I don't buy that, unless the signal is so poor that the TV can't receive it. It either works or you get blocking/breaking up, not just a reduced picture quality like in the old analogue days.
If other sources work correctly then logic would dictate that the issue is with the aerial/cabling/location, as that is the only variable that has changed.Unless OP has changed setting in AV1, AV2, TV etc without knowing.
As I said though, provided he is getting a steady picture without breakup then it is unlikely to be the aerial/cable as the digital TV signal either works or it doesn't. I think it's more likely an inadvertently changed picture mode, probably with a lower gamma setting (hence the washed out look).
We won't know unless the OP comes back to let us know of course...

Right....now we are getting somewhere.
Firstly, if you are happy with the picture with those settings then by all means continue.
Personally, I'd try some others. You have it set to "Dynamic" which is generally the shop default setting, for showrooms under strip lighting and many sets all competing for your attention. So it's over-blown, full-on look at me and totally artificial. To compound that, you've also got Vivid Colour on and no doubt a whole host of other "enhancement" settings.
Try switching to Normal, Cinema or THX (which I think is the most natural looking default) and turn every off. You can the play about with turning on other features in turn and see what difference they make and if you think they improve the picture.
Bare in mind that the ambient lighting of the room will have a big impact on the picture. Watching during the day in sunlight will have a different picture to the curtains close a table lamp on in the evening.
As you have just moved home, this may well be a contributing factor to your impression that the image has changed.
