Recently purchased a Panasonic TX-L47ET60B TV, brilliant picture etc., but two issues that I have, that I would appreciate some advice on.

Firstly, I am finding the connection of the external speaker audio lead, to the TV's audio socket, to be very sloppy, loose connection, with the lead occasionally disconnecting from the TV. I have tried different leads, been back to Richard Sounds with differing audio leads, and found the same loose connection with their same model showroom TV. Richard Sounds response is "bring the TV back", but such effort with doing the same, i was wondering if any poster has had a similar issue with this model TV, if so were they able to overcome, correct the problem.

Next, and possibly mentioned before, I have adaptor lead to connect IPad to TV/Netflix via HDMI lead, but will not stream to the TV. Although streams via Laptop, Desktop Win 7 on both. Apart from the IPad I also have a Nexus 7, and with my preference for keeping the Laptop free, what are my options for streaming from either the IPad or Nexus to my TV.

As far as the socket goes, i'm assuming you're talking about the optical digital output? if so they're all like that, I found if you put a couple of turns of ptfe tape around the square part of the plug but taking care not to cover any of the cylindrical part of the cable normally does the trick.

I've just bought the same TV too - seems popular!

The problem I have is that the Netfix app doesn't accept my login details. Has anyone got it to work?

I stole the following from another poster

Watch Netflix on Your TV Via iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch

Note: The current version of the Netflix app requires iOS version 6.0 or later. Video-out is available on 4th-generation and later iPad, iPhone 4 and 4th Generation iPod Touch models.
Connect your Apple mobile device to a television or monitor with a compatible VGA, composite, component, or HDMI cable connection kit. (More information is available through Apple's support site).
Launch the Netflix App then press Play.
The television or monitor will display a red screen with a Netflix logo. After initial buffering, video playback will begin on the television or monitor, and the mobile device will display playback controls.

My recommendation on the other thread was to get a ChromeCast. They have limited apps so far but Netflix is one of them. I use mine as a media player (video only)with Plex and it is so much better than the PS3
