a while ago I bought some cut rca cable and wall sockets that allowed the cable to be buried in the wall with standard sized sockets.

anyone know where you might get decent quality unended rca cable in reasonable lengths please?

thanks

you can use coaxial cable with an F connector and then a screw on F to RCA adaptor

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-Pack-F-Plug-Connector...

NB i have no affiliation to the seller links are for demo only

How long is the cable run?

If quite long (10M +), then it might be more beneficial to run a single length of CAT5 and use some balun converters on each end.

Something like this

It will also maintain the audio quality over a long run.

found what I need...thank you.

I have a plate that houses 8 banana plug sockets for 4 sets of speakers, but it's not a standard double socket plate size - has anyone seen a standard double sized face plate for 4 speakers please?

Plenty on eBay if you search 'speaker faceplate'
