I've got a Denon DAB microsystem and a TV in the kitchen/diner. The Denon came with a rabbit ear antenna, terminated with a satellite cable connector. Reception is poor.

Can I connect the Denon to my TV aerial?
Currently there is just a temporary coax cable coming through the ceiling from a splitter in the loft. Can I fit a suitable splitter on the end of this cable?

I couldn't get my Denon DAB radio to work successfully off of the TV aerial, works perfect now with an external aerial designed for DAB

My Denon microsystem only has one aerial connector (F type), so I need a solution that'll give me DAB and FM down one cable.

Tried a temporary cable direct to the TV aerial - no FM, and only found the BBC multiplex on DAB.
Wonder if a proper splitter would help?

You can get some success from a TV aerial however DAB is a vertically polarised signal and most TV aerials are horizontal. Best get a proper aerial, you can get combine FM/DAB aerials.
