On Ear headphones up to £100
Discussion
You don't say what you will be driving them with, but some of the more expensive models can require a headphone amp if you're wanting to drive them from a phone / mp3 player.
The AKG K450 will happily work straight from a phone / mp3 player and as an added bonus are on special offer at the moment at £39.99 (reduced from £100).
I have a pair myself, and they do sound good (but of course that is purely subjective).

They are highly recommended by What-HiFi - just ordered a pair. Thanks for the recommendation! The AKG K450 will happily work straight from a phone / mp3 player and as an added bonus are on special offer at the moment at £39.99 (reduced from £100).

I've just bought some Harman Kardon CL headphones for £70 (normally about £160) and they are wonderful. I'm really impressed. Was using AKG480s previously and these are a clear step up both in build and sound.
I got mine from Costco of all places but Richer Sounds have them for not much more cash here if you're not a Costco member (and if not, why not :-)) : http://www.richersounds.com/product/all-headphones...
Can't recommend them highly enough.

they cost 120 and have a lovely sound, the build qaulity is second to none, worth the extra 20 quid.
