Help - Sky HD box parental pin protect query

Our kids are driving us nuts by being glued to the TV 24/7.

To get them of their lazy backsides is it possible to parental pin protect a sky box on switch on from stand by or from off - so sky box only shows channels when switched on after pin entered or is parental pin protect by channel the only option or way forward?
