~40inch TV suggestions

I need to get myself a new TV, my 26inch Samsung LCD is 10yrs old and has random patches on the screen. I'm also about to move house and therefore have a little more space. The room it's going in will be approx 4x3.5, and the viewing position is approx 3m from where the TV will go. I'm thinking ~40inch is a good size, being not ridiculously huge, and a good jump up from the little 26.

I use a PC with MediaPortal for viewing, so have no need for a SmartTV.

I've seen the Panasonic TX39A400B (39inch) for £350 which seems a bargain. Does anyone know anything about this screen? Or have any alternative suggestions? I don't need anything like 3D, or SmartTV, but do need 1080p, and for it to be as physically small as possible (for a ~40inch TV).
